The Alpine screens require signal on two different wires to allow it to display video.
Yellow/black is footbrake
Yellow/blue is e-brake
The sequence is as follows once the Alpine is powered on:
Engage the foot brake
E-brake on
E-brake off
E-brake on
Disengage foot brake
For virtually zero money, you can use a toggle switch to mimic the e-brake and wire the yellow/black to the foot brake. The sequence would be as follows:
Engage the foot brake
Toggle switch on
Toggle switch off
Toggle switch on
Disengage foot brake
