this is the same set i got as a gift from an older friend, he promised me i would use them and let me tell yea i have alot
I've used the exact kit too.

For stubborn nuts, I heated the nut with out applying direct heat to the stud as best I could. Then i tapped on the extractor and used a breaker bar. You can also try hammering on a smaller socket.

I also soaked the nut with pb blaster through out the day, the day before.
