the piston size is factory size. im not familiar with that, all i know is that its the AMS rebuild kit they stopped selling a few years back.
Background on the car:::
purchased in March of 2009, i blew the headgasket in aug 2010, decided to go turbo. motor was sent out to a reputable local machine shop, to be hot tanked, decked, and have the head redone. all new valves and retainers and whatnot, head also received a three angle valve job. The shop also checked the clearances on my block internals.
Fast forward a bit.. Car finally gets to the dyno for a tune in Sept/Oct 2010. I break my wastegate on the dyno. get a new one. finish tuning. Make 362whp/333wtq. I am a very happy girl.
i drive the car occasionally (weekend car meets mainly) for a while, never making it to any drift events..
last year, i found a coupe shell, and did a transplant. month or so later, i split my manifold at the collectors.. so i get a new one. one that CXracing claims "i cant break".
im dissapointed in myself that i never got to use this car for the purpose of what it was built for. and financially, im in a position that i simply cannot keep throwing money at it when i need to be paying off my student loans.
The motor is sound, 86is300 can verify that its healthy. it will need to be retuned if someone does by my AEM and engine together. and i am willing to negotiate on the price if thats the case.
car doesnt smoke, knock, or have idle issues. I do not have a cluster, but when i did i logged 4000 miles, so i would have to ballpark it at 5000 MAX miles on this build.
Will also trade for stunt bike :P im going to need a new toy/project.
