^DEI gold shield is not flexible at all.. you need about $200-300 worth of gold sheet to cover the entire firewall. Make sure you get everything out the way before you apply, that stuff looses its adhesive after the first application.
I heard the silver heat shield is half the price and twice the resistance of gold, look it up. Gold is really just for show
