Sorry guys! I didnt even notice that the threat went through!, Here's the latest!
The wait is over. I wanted to have a little bit more progress before I posted up but I've been busy with some other things I havn't had time so here's the update so far, Next step is to paint the "interior" and the rear re paint the cage and do body work on the fenders, smooth out the factory line that the s14, fill the hole for gas door on the pass side and make a hole on the drivers lol. Then full new wiring and such. enjoi
needed a fresh new rear piece so i cut one off of a junk car.
had a friend bend up some pipes
and away we go
took it out for a local show along with my v8 team
goodbye wiring
cleaning up the engine harness
new handbrake that has been powder coated clear along with my shift knob
best panel you can get, touch screen switch panel complete with relay board and fuses, super clean no spaghetti
re did the panel and made a bracket to recess the arc panel
Im happy to have an ass again lol contrary to popular belief I hate having a smashed up car, even though this is drifting I like my car to not be shitty. And keep it in mind its not done yet the panel will be riveted in with body work etc. The rear section is fully bolt on and removable I can take it all down to the tubes in a jiffy. Also some of you might think that it needs more bracing but I like to believe that since its a drift car and it will be smashed again that it needs give, since this is a partial tube if you stiffen it up too much it will go towards the weakest link and bend the actual frame or even make you abosrb the impact, I would rather replace a small section of tube.
