If they were fucking me with crappy customer service, and making me pay more for the exhaust than I orgiinally agreed, I would make them PAY!, and then I would take my money else where. Tell them that you received the exhaust, and that they will need to pay to ship it back to them.
DO NOT FUND CRAPPY COMPANIES.
