well if you think about it. the money changing hands/the exhaust changing hands puts this ALL on the mother...i mean, in actuality if you think about it...she bought the exhaust, she had her money refunded, she "sold" the exhaust to the kid and never paid for the exhaust.
Mom= up 520 dollars or whatever
Kid=paid for his exhaust in full
company=out 1 exhaust or 520 dollars
