The thing you circled is the valve cover breather elbow. The PCV valve is straight and screws into the intake plenum. On your picture, if you look towards the left , the intake plenum is the part that has ECCS on it. See the black tube (with about the same diameter as the tube you circled) that connects to the intake plenum? On the Dual Overhead Cam engines, easiest way to access the PCV valve is to remove the alternator, then unbolt that little square thing the PCV valve is mounted to. Once you get all that stuff off, you shouldn't have any problems swapping out the valve.
Bout the only thing that bothers me about swapping out the PCV valve is, WTF were those friggin idiot Nissan engineers thinking when they put it there??? !@#$%^...damn thing is a MAJOR PITA to change.....
