Well, thats the difference between a company that tests their product and is pro-active about repairing and replacing defects -- and a company that does not.
I dont see what the big deal is though, because its quite obvious and doesnt require cornering the vendor to get a proper answer. Simply put, they dont build nor do they test their product. Recalling any product post-sale is not a priority. If your part fails, tough titty.
