From a business point of view, I can see how it makes sense to combine the Z and GT-R platforms. Still the new skyline looks kind of disappointing.
Giving it a more "skyline-like" front facia would help a lot though. Anyway, the GTR is going to be sold mostly in Japan, and maybe some day brought over here, so its what they think that's really important. I think Japans styling trends are usually different than what's going on here.
That type of styling might be the "next big thing" over there, and it could sell like hotcakes. Who knows what they are thinking.
