The redtop was from a 93. I was able to pick the one I wanted among the other motorsets at the local importer shop. The one I chose had to be the cleanest, freshest one I have ever seen. The valvetrain was so clean, no sludge buildup at all. The compression was 151, 151, 151, 150. Here' some pics of the day I got it.
