I've successfuly(sp?<img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>) dodged an encounter with a deer about three times now. All at night. I've always ended up with a heartattack. I missed two of them by an inch.
The first one was when I was driving a 91 Sentra E!, and the deer just happen to run the same direction I decided to cut my steering wheel (full braking, ofcourse) So I had to cut back to the left and was almost sure that I hit it.
The second very close encounter was on the freeway when I was going about 65-70 at night on my 240SX. That deer just popped up infront of my car out of no where. I had to slam on my brake and swirve out of the way. &nbsp;(the 240 was very stable through out the whole manuver by the way)
I am never going to speed at night again. At least not in Colorado
