I was like you once. Full time student but I was working full time and I COULD NOT ask my mommy or daddy to help me with a car. I saved up and studied hard. I now graduated and have a good job. I was able to buy my dream car (97 Kouki) and work on it the times its gone down and do some spicy upgrades.
Just stay in college and focus. In the end it will be worth it at the end waiting to find your dream car. If you get a s-chassis you will encounters issues every now and then. You may have to sit without a car sometimes, and it will interfere with your studies and financial state.
Go to college, finish up, make good money, build your dream car
