I put another S13 together over the winter and drove it with no rad fans with zero issues in the cold. It got much warmer the past 2 weeks and sitting in traffic the water temp needle climbed up 3 notches past the middle where it usually runs and where the thermostat clearly opens... Does anyone know "about" what temp each of these hashes on the oem means?

Car always runs on the 3rd hash right in the middle of the oem cluster, so I know the gauge is working correctly.
