yeah, mine hasn't had a problem either. It's all in how you use them I guess... Driving at highway speeds I very rarely use the brakes, and around town, only use them when coming to a full stop.
Oh, as for things that bother me... They stopped importing them, lack of cupholder, unsuportive seats... all reletively small problems.
