Just like Jeff said. Use a Slide hammer. Not slide the hammer, what ever that means. For a slide hammer, you can get the peice for the end that is a three peice hook. My friend just got his out from using that, and the last one he and his friend did, they did not have the tool so they tack-welded a piece of metal to it, yanked it out (that worked well to).
