Nissan's and Infinity's future seems very bright. Nissan's release of the new Altima is badass, and the Maxima is getting an SE-R with 260hp. Then, the 350z is coming with maybe 280hp and under $30 grand.
And let's see, supercharged Frontier and Xterra sounds yummy. They need a better minivan than the Quest tho. And 240hp Pathfinder, those things are FAST, I raced my friend in his dad's 01 Pathfinder with my 98 240 and whupped me from start to finish, I didn't have a chance!
On the Infinity side, the Skyline is coming, the lesser version of course, as the G35. It has the same engine as in Japan. But this is NOT the GT-R version. This is a version that will appeal to the consumer as a luxury/family car, not a sports car. The Skyline GT-R will come to the US in a few years, when it is released in Japan, it will also be realeased here, as the Infinity X35, same 3.5 liter V6 engine, but possibly twin turbo.
I read in SCC that they replaced the RB engines with the VQ engines. Gone are the inline-6, and say hello to V6, even in Japan.
I highly doubt that the 240sx/Silvia will ever come to the States. Why? Because of the Sentra SE-R. And the fact that the SR20DET is hard to make pass smog/CARB/EPA or whatever. If the Silvia should ever come here, it might be badged as an Infinity and probably have a 2.5liter 200-hp 6-speed, and named S25. Just a bit of babbling, and hopefully it comes true.
