I've got cable, but I share it with everyone else in our building (4 apartments & my landlord's business), but its still pretty darn fast. Best part is that my landlord pays for it and just ran jacks for it into each appartment, so its free (kick A$$!!).
I work for a DSL company in Cincy, and I think I'd go with the cable if I had to pay for it, cause DSL comes with alot more problems. But its still a #### good connection.
