I still love cars as much as I always have I think peoples tastes change. I just recently sold my 240 and now im looking into a different car I still want rwd or awd. I just don't really care about modding cars because I will just be daily driving it. I personally can no longer justify having a fully build daily drive. If you race and stuff than that is awesome but putting tons of money into a car that will be drive the speed limit is wierd to me. Yeah I will have fun and go fast and stuff but I don;t need like 400 HP to get to work and stuff. I think its part of growing up and changing tastes. I am currently looking at a lexus sc300 5spd and the car will remain basically stock on the outside and I will work on the engine a little with some basic bolt on and possible internals but im just not too thrilled on engine swaps and stuff anymore. I think another part of it for me is the fact that I moved out of state and I don't have any of my tools anymore and my friend that had a garage is not here so I don't really get the chance to work on cars anymore.
