This is an uphill battle. Not impossible, just improbable. I would have more faith if the poster ^ above me said he was building this, I would say that there is a much higher chance of success. But still, end product will have very high costs in addition to other issues that plague headlights of this design.

I agree with you, I am not a lighting specialist in anyway haha. But I decided to give these a try because I knew the #1 reason why people like them (including Jesse Streeter) is for Style points, not for functionality. That is why I was looking at driving lights, as they would give a similar "[_][_]______[_][_]" look.
I dont think the fixed headlight should be used as a base for greater headlight visibility. Just use Raybrigs on the standard pop-ups and they will be better then any of these fixed housings.
Those who would just want the housings and covers alone, I can do that.
