Don't forget that with any 240 the main factor with throwing codes is whether it's an ODB-I or an ODB-II car. Some 95's and all 96'-98' are OBD-II so they WILL throw a code when you run Headers like the HS ones. The reason for this is the removal of the cat and second O2 sensor. OBD-I cars will not have this problem due to the more leanient setup.
To remedy this problem in OBD-II cars you will need to relocate the second O2 sensor to behind the aftermarket cat that you WILL need to install to replace the fake cat. Make sure you get a CARB compliant cat so you will not have smogging issues for Cali. The easiest way to relocate the sensor is to have a competent shop weld the O2 bung that HS sells on their website somewhere on your exhaust pipe just after the new cat. Then you have to extend the O2 wires to reach the new location and that's it.
