That is exactly what I was thinking, a shorter piping route and an open way for the radiator (plus the extra intercooler protection). I have already an Invader VIS CFH and the intercooler that came with the kit that I bought (boostdesigns) is a perfect fit btw the radiator and the engine. But wouldn't the intercooler work in a higher temp due the warm air from the radiator and the overall temperature of the engine bay?
