it has nothing to do with the turbo spooling up. The turbo will spool up the same if you are running 1000ft of piping, you just wont feel it for 23 sec later. The reason is. The turbo can only provide so many cfm's. In other words, the longer the piping the more cubic inches (or whatever cubic measure you would like to use) there are to fill. Im sure thats what you were refering to. Also a v mount setup is very hard to have the air flow distributed equally to the radiator and the ic without some sort of splitter in the middle. Also the v mount setup will suck ass if you crash and have to spend a month waiting for custom parts to come in. Unless you are a fabricator with the ability to tig weld, cut fmic, and radiators in half.
