The solo should require less space than 1.2 cubic feet, so i think.... why dont you listen to a JL W7 series... they just came out and it kicks ass!!! but why would you want 144 db??? You would go deaf with in a few years.... Mine reaches about 112 and that is more than loud enough for me.... If you are not looking for competition quality, either one is very good..... Look at the quality of the box, makes a big difference.
