well i gotta say it depends on 2 things where you race and how good a racer you are.  obviously you should race on empty roads (although its kinda hard to find one of those these days)  oh one more thing.  if you are willing to take the risk of having a crash i think its aight if you race on the street.  i wont really start doing that till i get my 12 point roll cage installed.
