You either removed the vin on the dash and swapped it to the rhd dash or you don't have the original dash vin , making in an illegal swap "not blue tag " ...... I worked for the ref for a few years at the end of the day you can claim all you want about you getting it checked out , but without a letter from chp clearing it or a replacement vin "blue tag" they can and will more them likely take the car if you get pulled over
