Nice S15. She's a beauty!
On another note. I've been in the car business for 15 + years. Any vehicle not manufactured for the USA and now in the USA is a GREY MARKET car. That does not in any way, shape or form mean that it is illegal as long as it has been imported properly/legally (paid taxes, inspected for USA emissions standards, etc) . There are different guidelines for GREY MARKET cars depending where they are from and weather that vehicle is also sold/not sold here in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. You can legally import a GREY MARKET 2017 FORD MUSTANG from Canada with no problems. That car is also sold here in the STATES with the same exact emissions standards. It will always be a GREY MARKET car but can be insured and registered 100% legally (BOTH FEDERALLY AND STATE LEGAL). When you start to get into trouble with the feds is when a GREY MARKET vehicle isn't produced for the UNITED STATES and do not meet our emission guidelines. If you don't know the right people and pay the the right amount of money most those vehicle would never leave the port because the FEDS manage anything that has to do with importation. Does the Sunshine state give a shit? Probably not. If you made it as far as getting that car out of the Port, do the FEDS care? Maybe not. When they start to care and you start bringing attention to yourself is when you start doing it on a larger scale and making money from it. MONEY is the answer. Its also the real reason why they started the 25 year rule besides the emissions bullshit. When it was legal people would import high end Luxury cars from Europe and other places. The manufacturers did not like this because they were losing lots of money on USDM units. It was hurting the US market and it was hurting our pocket while the other guys were getting rich. Long story short. Is it legal? NO. Do smarter people than me do it and get away with it? YES. Should you do it? Only if you're one of those smarter people......
Take this information for a grain of salt. Do your own research. Make your own decisions.
Good luck with the sale man. I hope she goes to a good home! Hope to see her in person one day

I can only image how great it must feel driving her on a 75 degree and sunny Saturday morning down or up I95.....
