Hi guys,
I'm back again - this time with 335/30/18 hoosiers on 18x12's.
I'm really posting just to keep notes of my changes, but also so that others may benefit.
Rear is pretty easy - 50mm rear overfenders bowed to about 80mm and about 2 deg of camber. Total offset of +13.
I think +10 or zero offset would be ideal here - for just a little extra clearance inboard for if you want to run a bit more camber.
Front is a LOT more work - depending on how much you want to bring the wheels inboard.
If you just want to use spacers and that's it, then you have to cut like crazy and offset ends up being -18 (yes negative 18).
The other option is to extend the ears on the front lower coilover mount a couple of inches, and move the upper coilover mount inboard a bit also.
This is more invasive, but doable, and is common among the SM autox 240's.
I will likely end up going this route in the future...
Again, this is assuming you are trying to run 335's and 18x12 wheels at all four corners.
My car is at the fabricators shop right now getting tubes up front because it fouls too hard in the wheelwell even after cutting what I could.
I'm using kts coilovers, and I believe the springs are 60mm diameter.
* I have the car as low as it will go (even removed both lower collars in the front), so that I can make sure I get all the clearances sorted.
ymmv.
