Depending on what you're actually doing with the car, I'd skip the 245/285 stagger, too. If it's just for looks then it's whatever, but generally for an s-chassis a square tire setup is what you want.

The car will be a fair weather street car with the very occasional track day.
I want maximum grip. For that I just figured that max contact patch was the way to go. Can you explain what makes square setups better?
