Not sure on the gap off the top of my head, using a quartermaster slave and shimmed it according to the instructions. I do have dowel pins. I can adjust the master cylinder rod out and it makes no difference which is why I think it's an alignment or input shaft issue. I need to pull the trans and inspect the pilot bushing again. I know I did have a bit of side to side play with the input shaft, but I couldn't find a spec in the 370z fsm for that.
