S13 with snowtires is the BEST winter car ever. No need to go and do anything super fancy at all. Just run the same thing all around. Not sure what you have for wheels right now, but just get some stock spares throw whatever size on it.

Tire wise, I drove a year on WS60s I think? It has been like 12 years since. They were great, but I also suggest General Arctic Altimax. They are usually very cheap and work real well in snow. They are louder and a little more flexible than most blizzaks fyi.

When I drove my s13 in winter it was lowered and had a 2 way diff in it. Too much fun... If I ever have garage space, I will probably do it again as a winter beater.
