Take your time, there are so many pieces of shit for 4k plus that I wouldn't pay 1k for. Pro tip, look under the car, if the frame rails are rusty or bent, run don't walk away. You can also see what kind of abuse the cars taken by looking at the factory pinch welds, where the factory scissor jack goes. If those are crushed or rusty, offer way less.
