Oops, maybe post the actual story.
We raided their office in Iraq, not the US and it was in 2006(there is no Iranian bassy in the US).
The office was raided by government agents because Iran was running terror operations out of the Consular. Here we are 14 years later and Iran is still running terror operations across the Middle East.
That is a far cry from American civilians getting mad about something, (like Russia says something offensive) and storming the Russian Embassy in Washington DC and killing a few people in the process. That situation is a regular occurrence in Africa and the Middle East however.
