Nocturnal, I believe there are two different Nismo LSD's. When I got mine there were 2 or 3 different part numbers on the manual. I can check when I get home if you have the right one.
I believe there is one where you DO need new sideshafts. That would suck.

I got mine of off Ebay
ridiculously cheap. It was brand new. So check there. I can't imagine ever going back to an open diff. LSD's are soooo much fun.
