Maybe dual wishbone suspensions from Miatas and rx7 spoiled me and I?m expecting too much. Previous owner also replaced all the rear subframe bushings with solid ones, but that should just affect transmission shifting and lsd clunking etc

Why wouldn't the solid stuff in the rear matter? It makes the whole car seem a lot louder and bouncier and less comfortable.
It's not a miata, get over your miata - they're very different cars, ride very differently, handle very differently, etc.
It's a bouncy car, that you have bouncy coils on, that are set bouncier than the manufacturer even suggests, that's full of solid bushings.
What's your actual question here, if you expected too much? YES, you expected too much, sell the car and go somewhere else...
