Pros:
- Weather
- Natural beauty
- Lots to do outdoors (indoors too actually)
- Food

Cons:
- Taxes
- Cost of housing and goods
- Disgusting authoritarian politics (Emissions BS, guns, etc.)
- Lack of common sense (shuts down nuclear plants and then bitches about the power grid, refuses to do controlled burns and then bitches about wildfires, etc.)

I should want to live in California. The weather is some of the best on earth and I work in STEM so good jobs are there. If you steal all of my money through taxes, try to tell me I can't own guns, and have ever increasing bullshit car laws, its a hard no from me though. Authoritarian politics and the idea that the 51% can tell the other 49% what to do with no restraint, is a cancer in this country right now, and that's the biggest problem with California.
