We (my restoration shop) haven't really seen that- while the restrictions are fairly onerous, there's no one saying "hey, you won't be able to do that."
We use a lot of electricity but not a lot of water.
Don't think it doesn't weigh on me. We restore dinosaurs that are driven for pleasure, not for any necessity. We specialize in the cars that don't have catalytic converters and are not electronically fuel-injected.
I've been trying to get one of our investors to fund an electric build. I'd do it myself but I have two BMWs to finish and I'd really like to get back into drifting.
