For the coilpacks

Top inner diameter (thru hole) is about
36.85mm / 1.45 inches


Top outer diameter (lip where coil pack boot sits on) is
41.0 mm / 1.617 inches (almost 1 5/8 inches)

From the bottom of my valve cover,
inner diameter (thru hole) is 34 mm / 1.339 inches

All S14 VCT and non VCT VC’s have the same diameter hole. You measured 36.x, 1.Xmas off of what they indicate. Disregard the “late S14 post ‘97” BS. Only the S15 had the smaller holes as it was the only one that had the ignitor removed. You have an S14 VC. When you put and S14 VC next to a P11/12 and/or an S15 VC it’s clearly different.
