This is probably me saying something very stupid, but if you get an FPR, you could just adjust the fuel pressure for the duration of MOT. if you have an AFR gauge (you should) you can kinda practice at home before you go. Target like a 16.0 idle AFR.
I realize this sounds dumb as hell, but if it?s to pass a quick inspection, I wouldn?t hesitate doing something short term dumb. I also don’t have to deal w that stuff in PA, USA, so there’s that.
