Back in the day this was made it was common to have to trim the stock reinforcement for intercoolers etc. anyway. Bash bars and tube fronts didn't exist yet : )
Oldest zilvia thread that mentions a bash bar I could find is this one from '09 and the only comment was that it was weird and a bad idea haha. They didn't start becoming common until the "throwaway drift missile" S-chassis era like 2012-2015
