I bought it with a shimmy under braking; it probably needs wheel bearings but pads and rotors are easy, fast, and cheap.
Planning on keeping the stupid thing for another 100k miles since it requires nothing, gets 43.5mpg average with low consumable costs, and is reasonably comfortable. Now I feel kinda bad for making fun of Matt Powers for driving his mom's Prius to the Fusion meets in San Diego.
G20s and the 405 Mi16 are the only FWD early-'90s BTCC cars that were sold in the US and are kinda fun to me. The SVT Contour lacks feedback and I've zero interest in a Volvo 850 wagon.
Building an E36 318i is an option, but the G20 is lighter and, well, after several six-cylinder E36s, a four-pot just doesn't cut it in that chassis. Plus, a slicktop version is extremely rare.
