right now i have a stock clutch, stock rad, and fmic, autometer gauge, and yes it is true that stock gauges are useless, in my early days of sr, it overheated due to onlyh half the amount of coolant it should have had, and temps were 220 or higher, and stock gauge said good, SO, I am right above 180 now and havent gone over, now also need to tell you the warmest ive driven is probably 50 degrees out or so, but with an E fan i dont see you should have any problems.
