actually from our exp (mine and a specific shop) we discovered the oem fan shroud and fan shroud keeps the the system cooler, i actually have lower overall temps and a smaller opperating variation w/ stock radiator (83-86c, i have to make a hard run in 95f + to get to 86c), blitz lm, and shroud/ fan than people with electric fans and a koyo (82-89c+). The e-fan techically is less powerful because it does not use a large shroud to cover the whole area of the radiator, either the single types cover 70-80% of the radiator or the dual types cover all of it but have a smaller shroud thus less air can be pulled through.
