Because the lower perch is adjustable, you can *slam* the car, and still retain full suspension travel (it doesn't limit the stroke, like coilovers where you compress the spring to lower the car)...this doesn;t mean the wheel won;t hit the wheel well, or whatever else comes with a really low setup...but the coilovers can probably do -3 to -3.5" or so, no problem.
