Uhhh....I know this doesn't answer your question, (and apologies for going somewhat off-topic), but why didn't you just remove your old S13 LCA's and have a shop press in S14 ball joints?? I recently helped my buddy do a 5 lug swap on his S13 and that's what we did. We took his LCA's to a local mechanic & had the mechanic press in the S14 ball joints. All it cost my buddy was cost for the part, an hour's time & 20 bucks labor for pressing in the S14 ball joint.
Anyhow, sorry to be such a nag...
