its 96, odb2, we checked the code already and its 34: knock sensor. i know its directly related to putting too much oil in because it didn't happen until i overfilled it and drove it a second time. from what i read about the ecu, the first trip doesn't activate the light but the 2nd one does if the problem persists. so tomorrow i'm going to get my oil changed along with filter and hopefully i'll pass my smog test after i reset my ecu so the light doesn't show. in any event, does anyone know of a no pass no pay smog check place or better yet an "always pass" smog place?
