Have you tried pulling the codes yet? If you don't know how I think there is something on 240sx.org that explains it.
If I remember right, you basically get to your ECU (pass kick panel) and twist the mode knob clockwise from 7 oclock to 5 oclock. leave it there for 2 seconds then turn back to 7 oclock. Then turn on the key and the check engine light will flash your codes to you (the ECU also has a red LED that flashes). Slow flashes are "worth" 10 and fast flashes are worth one, so "SLOW SLOW SLOW FAST FAST FAST FAST" would be code 34, etc.. When you're done turn back from 7 to 5, hold it, then back to 7. That will clear the codes (go for a drive then pull them again). That might help point you in the right direction.
Also you may want to try cleaning your MAF using a carb cleaner... Same with cleaning your throttle body. Check your engine ground straps too to make sure they aren't corroded/detached/broken/etc...
