yea, there might be a hose that you might have forgotten to fasten back into place and the air isn't going through the mafs, but instead coming in from the opened hose somewhere else. but if all else fails, try the knock sensor, my friend has a supra turbo, and the same thing happened, we thought it might have been a boost leak, but after checking everything, it was after all, the knock sensor. good luck.
