hey hamsterball, you want to get rid of that egr problem. Just find out how much resistance is on the activation solenoid. Get a resistor to match and wire it into the plug for the solenoid and the computer will think that it is there without having to worry about it throwing codes. You will just have to clear the codes you already got. You could go a step further and remove all the egr stuff. You will need some sheetmetal to block off where the valve goes and something to plug the open end on the exhaust side, then some vaccum caps and you should be set.
