My biology instructor reasoned that was great ape's standard attacked mode. If you piss some apes off, they were most likely form a gang (especially brothers! ) and jump you. The standard killing mode is bite off the enermy's face, and chew up the hand, feet and genital. all Apes (beside Orangutan) does steal, rape and muder. Those are based on scientific research and study.
so when you see a group of apes, you better act smart...
